January 1st was spent on the hills of Whisp in McHenry, sledding is always fun for all.
Some pretty cool crew to celebrate the New Year's eve in McHenry.
We took our friends from Miami, Fl sightseeing and ended up in the old post office building, looked so lovely and patriotic.

Right before leaving to McHenry we had great walk in Brookside Gardens decorated with Christmas lights.
Right after Christmas the C and O canal turned into ice skating rink and we couldn't resist not to skate.

Best present from Santa - makes you play soccer in the living room (goalie gloves for Denny were a hit).
Couldn't resist checking out USA capital decorations for Christmas - not impressed, but most beautiful botanic garden doesn't need any decorations and best of all - they keep tropical air temperature inside.
