We took our friends from Miami, Fl sightseeing and ended up in the old post office building, looked so lovely and patriotic. Full crew skiing on the second day of the New Year. What a team! Here is a look at our family's 2021 calendar: full year of virtual school, Covid-19 pandemic, not going out, limited traveling and shopping online. Best decision ever made - spent winter in Florida and enjoy warm sun and tropical gardens. January: Happy Birthday to Julie - we stayed in Florida for 6 weeks of virtual school with pool and ocean for lunch breaks. Best celebration ever! On our way to Florida, we saw Falcon 9 launch from Port Canaveral and Julie decided to become an astronaut. On our way back from Florida we stopped in St. Augustine, Fl. April: Back in Maryland. Happy Birthday to Masha! May - Cicadas brood X were awake in 2021 - millions of them everywhere. May trip to Outer Banks, North Carolina. June - introduction to Westleigh Swim club and swim meets and swim team of barracudas. August - kids stayed in Massachusetts for a month. Parents' trip to Barcelona was unique. Spain is beautiful.
