Your Baby: Week 16

Watch what you say... tiny bones forming in baby's ears mean the little one can now pick up your voice. Eyebrows, lashes and hair are starting to fill in, and taste buds are forming. And, if you're interested, an ultrasound might be able to determine gender. 

According to "What to Expect": Tiny bones in your fetus's ears are in place this week, making it likely that the baby can hear your voice when you're speaking (or singing in the shower)at 16 weeks pregnant. In fact, studies have found that babies who are sung to while they're in the womb recognize the same tune when it's sung to them after they are born (so choose your baby Muzak with that in mind…).

How far along: Don't you read it? 16 weeks
Total weight gain:  Have no clue
Maternity clothes: I got little black swimming dress with tiny blue flowers from DKNY, not maternity, size 14... Aha - I'll swim in a dress. I also realized that other non -maternity staff can be easily worn as maternity.... I just need to close my eyes and buy everything in sizes other than small or size 4.

Stretch marks: Nope.Always forget to use Mustela.

Main symptoms: Sleeping for 5 minutes in the middle of the day @work. Nails grow fast and strong. It's time for french!!!
Exercise: Went shopping for a swimming suit.
Best moment this week: Let me think....
Movement: I'm sometimes bubbbbblllly (inside my tummy)
Food cravings: Lot's of different
Gender: Maybe boy??!!!Maybe girl???!!!
Labor signs: None.
Belly button in or out? Wow, I can see what's inside my belly button now...
What I miss: My old clothes
What I am looking forward to: Finding Karapuz Gender
